Perfection - almost

Well it would be perfect if Daddy was here...

but we're still having fun. Gabby loves the sand and the pool. She dunks her head in constantly.
Bella loves playing with her beach toys. The water is too rough to swim, but she likes jumping into the end of the wave.
No Sunset - Just sunrises. Too bad the girls like getting up with the sun.
more to come later. AdiĆ³s.

Pappa, Granna and Auntie come to visit.

The girls hanging out in Auntie's tent.

Do puzzles with Pappa and coloring...
We headed to the park, where the adults had possible more fun than the kids.
Gabby LOVES the swings
The water was even on...so Granna even headed in with Bella
We played with lots of bubbles.
This cracks me up of Gabby Joel took Friday off, so we went to the children's museum. This was a pipe maze that shot rags and balls through it.
Gabby loved the noise from the washers.
bella loved the art room
and making caterpillars with daddy
and the noodle maze.
they had a room for 3 and under which was perfect. Gabby loves wind, so when we sat her on the wind machine she loved it...check out that belly..ha ha
Then we spent some time outside where Gabby ate the sand

and Bella watered her flowers that Auntie and her planted the day before.

The girls had so much fun all week. We did miss Uncle Shawn. Luckily we'll get to see everyone in a few weeks for Miriam's graduation. Now off to bed so we can go to Cabo tomorrow!!!

Easter

Saturday we colored eggs, put stickers and roll paint!

Gabby just wanted to eat them.

Bella got her favorite movie from the Easter Bunny - Mama Mia

Brunch at Papa T's - Papa was the omelette maker and Ryrie was the waffle maker..mmmm.
We also celebrated Uncle Ryan's 1 year of sobriety! We are so proud of him!

Gabby in her Bunny Ears.
Gabby with Great-Grandma Shotton & Uncle Chad.
Gabby loved shaking the eggs with money.
It took a little while but Bella figured out how to hunt for eggs. Her older cousins were great at helping her.
Everyone in pink (but daddy).

My silly girls

So after a completely crappy week there is nothing better than being with the girls and looking at their pictures. They are so happy - if everyone could so worry free.

So here is our baby stand all alone!

Bella has come a long way from Day 1 with Gabby! She LOVES her little sis
She kept saying "take my picture mommy" then would make a cheesy face.

Hugs and snuggles. She hugs and kisses Gabby so much sometimes she just tackles her.
Crawling races - Gabby actually won she is our little speedy girl.
Sticking their tongues out.
She shoots, she scores!
beautiful girls!
Gabby is obsessed with emptying everything
Nothing like snuggles after a long day.

Why? Well Why?

So Bella has started the "Why" phase. I really didn't think that happened until they were 3 or 4...but apparently it is now. Everything you talk to her end in Why?....Well Why...Oh Okay...and if it isn't Why it's "What's that?" It was pretty cute at first, but now it's just driving me nuts. She has become quite our funny girl - the things she says cracks us up. Last night we were sitting on the couch and she said "daddy fix my booty"...Joel looked at me like what did she just say...so she proceeded to lift her nightgown so he could fix her wedgie. It was hilarious. She still has her stubbornness and crying phases a lot of the time...but then we have our precious moments. Last night I laid her down and she came out (for the 2nd time) for me to wipe her nose...I laid her back down and she said "Mommy, can i have another kiss?" Tonight we went through the same routine and it was kiss, then high five, knuckles, then blowing it up...which ended in a giggle and she did not reappear and stayed in bed. Oh what a crack up. We had swimming lessons and she is doing so good. She starting to get the hang of kicking and making big circles with her arms. She even dives for rings (with the teacher's help). But she gets so excited and loves it.

Well unfortunately our laid back little Gabby has caught on to Bella's tantrums and has started to throw her own...she fall to the floor and kick her feet.
Last night Bella decided to have a movie night. She loves popcorn like her Papa T.

Bella in her cute hat on our way to Target tonight.
Gabby (like Bella) LOVES empty out all the bags around the house.
So we have started some real food. This is how ravioli and peas started.
This is how it ended (pretty much all gone and all over her)
Gabby will eat anything and LOVES bananas. Her favorite spot is standing up by Bella so her big sister can sneak her food.
Well it's 1 am and I should be in bed. I actually was going to work, but started downloading my 900 pictures from March. Yes I know...but we have some big plans the next few weeks, so I had to do this before I had more to organize and crop...we have Easter (and egg coloring), then Pappa, Granna and Auntie are coming to visit, then I am taking the girls to Cabo with Papa, Nana, Uncle Ryrie, Uncle Chad and Aunt Stephie. I need a vacation and it will be nice to have lots of extra hands with the girls.
